Thank You!

A sincere thank you to everyone who helped make #ALLINFORAHN a success! With the generous support of our AHN community, we raised $28,000 in ONE DAY to support The 1884 Fund and Scholarships. That left us just $2000 shy of our goal, but gifts are still coming in!

If you haven't had a chance to make yours yet, fear not, you still can! Just follow the link or Venmo at ahnalbany.

Forming Young Leaders

Read More from Dr. Kilbridge's Reflection Here

Adolescence is a time of self-discovery. The road to self-discovery is not easy, especially in an era of intense public scrutiny brought on by social media.

At Holy Names, we strive to create an environment where all girls find their purpose and embrace their authentic selves while feeling valued and uplifted. Our academic and extracurricular programs are designed to nurture not just intellectual growth but also emotional intelligence and moral development.

Recognizing the challenges our girls face in growing to be the best versions of themselves, we have incorporated renewed attention to character development in our Strategic Plan 2030.

Tuition Discount Available

Honoring African Influence in Culinary America

From the fields of Africa to the streets of New Orleans, and from the innovative kitchens of Monticello to the activism-fueled gatherings of the Civil Rights Movement, African American cuisine has profoundly influenced the culinary landscape of America.

So, in recognition of Black History Month, the Social Justice Club, led by Mrs. McSparron have put together a display in The Commons tracing the African contributions to American cuisine. On Friday during lunch periods, students had the opportunity to sample some of the foods courtesy of our friends at Good Religion Grill in Albany.

HH Ranch Highlights AHN Senior

"At the heart of every great service project lies passion, dedication, and a desire to make a difference.

For Reagan Dunham, a senior at Academy of the Holy Names in Albany, NY, these qualities led her to create Hearts and Happiness, a special event for an Outreach Program visit at The Melodies Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders at the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center."

Panthers Updates

This Week in Athletics

Holy Names defeated Glens Falls 66 to 31 in the Class A Quarterfinals Thursday evening. Gianna Savoca led the way with 19 points. Maggie Volmer had 11, and Morgan Brewer added 10. Next up: the Class A Semifinal at HVCC Monday at 7:30 p.m.

Our fall athletes were surveyed to ask who they thought was their number one fan this season, and the person with the most votes was a surprise to no one: Social Studies teacher, Mr. Franzini!

Mr. Franzini was honored ahead of last week's varsity basketball game for his ongoing support, and courtesy of the Booster Club given a brand new shirt cementing his status as leader of the Panther Cage!

Congratulations are in store for AHN Cheer's "Game Team" which wrapped up its season on Monday. The varsity squad is scheduled to compete in sectionals on Saturday.
