Student Honored for Service
Congratulations to Ella Schoenborn '26, recipient of the "Why I Care" Award from Broadview Federal Credit Union.
Broadview's most prestigious honor, the award is presented quarterly to one employee and one member for their community service activities, non-profit involvement, and how they are inspiring others to join in.
With the award came a $1000 donation to a non-profit of her choice, which Schoenborn selected "The Carlo Cherubino Memorial Fund."
Schoenborn founded “ProjectElla” in 2018 to feed the hungry when she was just 9. ProjectElla has since distributed thousands of meals and hundreds of thousands of food pantry items to organizations in need throughout the Capital Region.

By Dr. Martin Kilbridge
This past Sunday we celebrated Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles who had anxiously gathered in a house in Jerusalem, unsure of what their future held with Jesus’ departure. The Holy Spirit transformed them, infusing them with hope and the courage to proclaim the gospel message. The Holy Spirit continues to animate the Church and it animates us, the Academy of the Holy Names community, in our mission to educate young women of competence, confidence, and compassion to build a better world.

By Principal Margaret Taranto
Dear Holy Names Family,
As the school year closes, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone in our school family for a successful academic year...
Everyone in this community has learned and grown, and I pray each member of our AHN family will enjoy a rejuvenating summer. As Father Longobucco reminded us a few weeks ago, this year’s school theme centered on love. Jesus instructs us: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. I pray every member of our AHN family will be on both the giving and receiving sides of this kind of love.

Growing up I was surrounded by different languages and cultures. It is important to stay connected to both.
Here are some fun and easy ways to keep up with your target language and cultural awareness over the summer.

- Beneficiary Designations
- Charitable Remainder Trusts
- Transfer of Appreciated Stocks or Assets
Once you've secured the needs of your family, please consider securing the future of AHN with a legacy gift. Every gift makes an impact and helps to sustain our mission and school for future generations of students.
