Dr. Kilbridge Featured in The Evangelist
Dr. Kilbridge recently had a chance to reflect on his first school year as president of Academy of the Holy Names.
One word came to mind to describe his experience: blessed.
He sat down with Emily Benson of The Evangelist to recount his transition, and his plans for the future.
Evangelist photographer Cindy Shultz, present on the day of the interview, also attended our commencement ceremony. Follow the links for the full article and to view photos from graduation.

Students Participate in May Crowning
"Bring flow’rs of the fairest. Bring flowers of the rarest...We crown thee with blossoms today, Queen of the Angels, Queen of the May."
Our middle schoolers participated in the annual May Crowning on Wednesday, honoring Mary, the mother of Jesus. A prayer service was held in Riley Auditorium, followed by a procession to lay flowers at the feet of and crown upon Mary's statue outside our building.

Research Program Inspires Junior to Pursue Science
This isn’t your typical science fair. If you’re expecting baking soda volcano eruptions or tornados in bottles, you’ll be sorely disappointed. Instead, we expect you will be blown away by what you see: presentations ranging from brain wave analysis to how to better treat heart-failure patients with iron deficiency.
2023 marked the 27th year for the Annual Holy Names Science Research Symposium. The showcase, led by teacher Andrew Licari, provides students the opportunity to present the results of a three-year program in which they choose the area to focus their research.
For Junior Carolyn Stum, that focus is treating spinal cord injuries.

A Tale of Two Commencement Addresses
Morgan Hannafin (right), Senior Class President, and Alexandra Lasch (left) were selected by their classmates to give the opening and closing remarks, respectively at this year's commencement ceremony.
Each was filled with heart, humor, and the steadfast determination to succeed which has been a hallmark of the Class of 2023. Follow the links to read their memories of AHN, and what they will take with them onto the next chapter of their lives.
