Spotlight on Service

Senior Presents Check for Service Project

Congratulations to senior Alexa Gross, whose "Swing for a Cause" softball fundraiser collected $2,500 for Albany Med Health System's Division of Forensic Medicine. Alexa presented staff with a check, and in return received a special certificate for her service.

Happiness is a Warm Blanket

For their senior service project, Casey Noll and Nicole Decker held a successful blanket-making event to benefit Project Linus, an organization that collects and donated blankets to children in hospitals. Thanks to all who came to lend a hand!

Seniors Organize Soccer Game to Benefit Nonprofit Organization

For their senior service project, Bridget Burke and Gillian Rajchel will host a three-on-three soccer tournament to benefit the Beestera Foundation. The nonprofit organization provides local youth sport organizations with equipment, coaching education, and operational support in underserved communities.

The tournament is scheduled for Saturday, April 20 on the Holy Names campus. Enlarge the image and scan the QR code to register.

Alumnae Updates

Three cheers for Reagan '31, on her decision to come to Holy Names, just like her mom, Trisha McLean '01. We love to see everyone in their AHN swag!

You never know where you’ll see a Holy Names alumna! Admissions Director Ann Rento ‘81 attended the KIPP Tech Valley Schools High School Fair and bumped into alumna Rhianna Francine Potocki ‘14 who teaches Middle School there.

Middle School Pep Rally

This year's Middle School pep rally was a stroll through the decades, with boots made for walkin' and dancing queens! From tug of war to hungry hippos and chasing chickens, there was a wide range of emotions, ending with the seventh grade taking home the coveted spirit stick! More photos coming soon to our gallery on ahns.org.
