Theology Class Learns About Buddhism From Special Guest
On a beautiful Thursday morning, Mrs. McSparron's Senior Theology class - World Religions, under the guidance of guest Dr. Alejandro Sela (father-in-law of Art Teacher Mrs. Sela who was also in attendance), learned Buddhist meditation techniques.
The class also created a peace crane chandelier which is on display in the Commons.
Students learned the Church advocates for nonviolence as a means to end conflict, as well as peace, a position it shares with Buddhism.
