AHN History Mural on Full Display

It’s here! AHN is proud to commemorate nearly 140 years of history and tradition with this brand new mural. From Mother Marie Rose to Michele Musto…Sr. Connie and Margaret Riley to Mary Anne Vigliante, we celebrate our legacy as we look forward to the next 140 years.

Thank you to all who made this possible, especially our Archivist and Historian Mary Ellen Scally Conboy ‘61, Ron Ladouceur and the team at POSTMKTG for research and design, and our new friend Erich at AM&J Digital for installing.

We encourage you to stop by for a visit. Don’t worry if you can’t. This meticulously researched record will all be made available online very soon!

Seniors Recognized at Special Liturgy

Congratulations to the Class of 2024, who received their senior shirts from their first year sisters during a special liturgy on Thursday.

They also had their lockers decorated, and received cookies from students, as well as corsages from faculty and staff.

The liturgy was celebrated by Fr. Bob Longobucco, a longtime friend of AHN, who was named an "honorary senior." The class gave him his own senior t-shirt in honor of his years of dedicated service and in recognition of the 25th anniversary of his ordination as a priest.

Senior Receives National Award

Congratulations to senior Jasmine Takyi '24 for receiving the National African American Recognition Award from The College Board.

The College Board National Recognition programs award academic honors to students who receive high exam scores on the AP or PSAT/NMSQT.

A New Tradition Begins with Senior Parking Space Painting

A view from above: this drone image captured by Chad Hotaling, father of senior Ryleigh '24, shows some of the senior parking spaces which were painted over the weekend as part of a new tradition on campus.

Panthers Update

It was a winning week for the Panthers, with tennis, JV and varsity volleyball, and cross country all taking home victories on Tuesday.

On Thursday, JV and Varsity volleyball each added wins versus Lansingburgh.

Visiting colleges included, but were not limited to Siena College, The University at Albany, The College of St. Rose, Niagara University, Alfred State College, St. John Fisher University, SUNY Fredonia, Colby Sawyer College, Keuka College, and Champlain College.

Eighth Grade Demonstrates Teamwork on Field Trip

It was all-about teambuilding for Grade 8's first field trip of the school year.

Through various outdoor activities the students were able to learn more about being caring, honest, respectful, and responsible within a safe, supportive environment.

Changing of the Guard: Reagan Administration Begins in Front Office

Read More About Ms. Schwartz Here

For the first time in more than a decade, Academy of the Holy Names has a new Administrative Assistant to the Principal.

A liaison between the principal and students, staff, and various other stakeholders, this vital role also oversees the front office and efficient operation of the academic side of our school.
