This Week at AHN

Grade 9 Retreat

Retreat day on Thursday was a day of camaraderie and reflection for our ninth-graders, led by Ms. Moran, Mr. Allen, and Ms. Witherspoon. Thank you to 7 Brew Coffee for donating 90 drinks and to the Church of St. Clare for letting us use their space!

Panthers Scoreboard

The Panthers were on the prowl again this week!

Varsity soccer posted another shutout, blanking Albany Academy 1-0 on Tuesday. The tennis team was also victorious with a 7-0 shutout of Mohonasen/Schenectady.

Congratulations go out to the modified volleyball team, which picked up its first win of the season, two sets to one over Voorheesville on Wednesday. Varsity volleyball added a three sets to none shutout of LaSalle on Thursday.

Next up: It's a jam-packed Friday with golf, swimming, JV and varsity volleyball all in action.

AHN is grateful to the Mackey family for the establishment and support of the Warren Mackey Scholarship Fund, which is presented each year to a deserving black student who demonstrates academic excellence, resilience and leadership skills.

Also, a shoutout to Penchant for Petals for the beautiful floral arrangement!
