Please join Mt. Zion UMC’s Outreach Cluster as they devote the entire month of May to providing families in need with food assistance.
There’s Hope for the Hungry is a mobile food pantry program that St. Peter & Paul Episcopal Church in East Cobb hosts on the first Tuesday of each month, for those in need of food and spiritual nourishment. They help over 100 families monthly.
There’s Hope for the Hungry has never depended upon large organizations or social programs for their support. They depend upon caring people who have a heart for their fellow Americans who are now in poverty.
Covered collection bins are located in the drive-through circle by the main lobby doors.
Below is a list of the most requested food items. (Please note that standard size containers are best, as oversized or family size containers can be difficult to pack and carry for many who use public transportation.)
Volunteers will move items inside, as needed, and deliver to the local food pantry as the month progresses. For questions contact Allyson Arthur at mkeitharthur@bellsouth.net or call
