January 14, 2019
From the Desk of Ellen Knippel, Principal

Dear Parents,
Congratulations to all of our students on a great first week back to school! It was a long week and your children were amazing! Thanks for working to get the students to school by the 7:30 bell. When the students come in late, it can often set a negative tone for the entire day! This is greatly appreciated by all of our teachers!

We have, unfortunately, had students without hats and mittens! It is COLD outside! Please remember to send hats and mittens  EVERY day (even the older students!)!

I also need to remind everyone of the 24 hour rule: If your child has a fever or throws up, they MUST stay home for 24 hours following the cessation (without medication) of either. This is also appreciated by all of us!

Registration paperwork will be coming home this week.  Please complete and return it by Friday, January 25.  All unclaimed slots will be open to the public on Open House and Registration Day, Sunday, January 17.

Finally, this week our 2nd graders will receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time. Please keep them in your prayers.

Blessings!
Mrs. Ellen Knippel
