From the Desk of Ellen Knippel, Principal

Dear Parents,
Well, it's that time of year again! The weather is changing on a dime! We had some very cold students out at recess this week. Please begin to send warmer coats, hats, and mittens with students. Remember, our little ones are outside two times per day and it can get awfully chilly.

Friday, Oct. 25th is the day we will celebrate Halloween. Our 3K, 4K, and 5K students may wear their costumes to school as they will celebrate in the morning. All other students should bring their costumes to change into after lunch. Please no makeup or weapons. Our traditional Halloween Parade will take place at 1:30pm (3K-5K will be at 11:15am). Parents who wish to view the parades should come to the office to sign in! Everyone is welcome!! The celebration continues at Trunk or Treat on Friday night in the lower parking lot. Even if you don't decorate your car, come with your little ghouls and trick or treat, enjoy a slice of pizza, and dance to "The Monster Mash".  If you can volunteer that night, please click here - and thank you!
WHEW! This sure is a busy place!

Blessings,
Mrs. Ellen Knippel

For Your Protection: HOAX Texts & Emails
There are still reports of receiving what appears to be an email/text from Fr. Tony requesting gift cards and/or money or an urgent response for an ambiguous purpose. Do not respond. Fr. Tony doesn't make personal requests for financial assistance through email/text. If you receive one, please contact Ben Brzeski or Art Scheuber in the Parish Office at 262-691-1173.

The "L" Word
It's getting cooler and those dear little head lice want to find a nice warm place to live for the winter. Area schools are reporting head lice, so let's be diligent in keeping them out of our school!  Ladies, wear pony tails and/or hair product.  Gentlemen, wear hair product.
Parents, keep a keen eye on your children, and if you notice any undue amount of itching, please check them carefully. If you find any lice or nits, please let the office know immediately so we can step up our efforts. We will NOT divulge the name of the family.  Newbies, check what to look for in this good tutorial.

The Culver's on Grandview Blvd. will donate 10% of all purchases between 5-8pm back to our school - dine in, carry out, or drive through! Teachers will be serving the food and out-of-uniform passes will be handed out to be used on Oct. 29th. Don't forget to purchase Culver's scrip early or on site.
