REMINDER - Maximizing Flood Relief Money & Protecting Community Investments:

Description: Join the Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission to learn about the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and why you should care. We will provide an explanation of the regulatory framework; what a municipality can do to gain the benefits of the program and highlight key legislation including what’s next for Vermont in flood preparedness. Following a presentation and discussion, staff will be available for in-person municipal consultations.

Flooding and Forecasting in the Winooski Watershed

Request for Proposals - Auditing Services

The Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission (CVRPC) is requesting proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants for annual financial statement audit services for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, with possible renewal for at least two subsequent years. The annual audit is conducted under the direction of the CVRPC Executive Director with oversight by the CVRPC Executive Committee and in cooperation with CVRPC’s Finance Manager and/or contracted accountant.

RFPs & Grant Information

2025 Downtown and Village Center Tax Credit Program

In FY2026, at least $3 Million in state income tax credits are available. Credits are awarded to projects that improve building safety, attract new business, and create jobs. Projects must be within a state-designated downtown, or village center. Funding supports general rehabilitation and code compliance work. The program also funds flood mitigation upgrades and exterior façade improvements. 

Applications for the next round of tax credits are due Friday, August 1, 2025.
