All girls at St. Anthony are encouraged to attend with mom, grandma, or any special woman in their life. This is a fun event with a craft, games, brunch, and chance to mingle with others from school.

Early Childhood
Our parish offers several programs for preschool-aged children and their guardians.

Mom's Group meets every other Tuesday from 9:30-11am. Childcare available with pre-registration.

SPARK! Adoration specifically geared for teens and young adults but ALL are welcome. Monday, Sept. 30th from 6:30-7:30pm in the Daily Mass Chapel. Stop in for 15 min or stay the hour.

Dear Parents,
These certainly have been busy days here at St. Anthony!  We are looking forward to our Mass for those who are or have experienced Childhood Cancer on Wednesday. The students tied blankets last week, and those will be blessed along with hearing from the Frank family who are part of Rally Foundation. Please be sure to have your child wear gold/yellow tops and uniform bottoms (no shorts) in support of the Gold in September childhood cancer initiative. Please join us if you are able!

KISS (Kids Invite Someone Special) RSVP sheets are coming home today - please watch for them!   We need a sheet from each family by Wednesday!  Thank you to those who have already replied.

There has been a case of Hand-Foot-Mouth disease confirmed in our school.  Please watch for fevers - here are other symptoms and information.

Dine at Culver's on Grandview Blvd. between 5-8pm on Sept. 24th and 10% of your purchase will be donated to our school! Don't forget to buy Scrip before or the night of!

Basketball Registration Closes,

Basketball signup ends this Wednesday! Please be sure to get your 5th-8th grader registered! 

Childhood Cancer Awareness Mass,
Sept. 25th
Please join us in your gold/yellow attire this Wednesday  at 7:45am for Mass. Students should wear gold/yellow shirts and uniform bottoms (no shorts) to school

Opportunities for Adoration and Prayer for Children with Cancer, Sept. 23-27
We are offering additional prayer opportunities this week. Details can be found below or on the sign up.

Calendar Raffle, Sept. 26th
We are down to our final week of selling! Any families in 3K-4th grade that haven't purchased a calendar raffle, please stop b  y the school office to get yours. All funds go towards the 8th grade Washington DC trip. Sellers - please have all ticket stubs (and money) turned in to the school office by no later than Thursday - we do not need your unsold tickets. The first drawing for the new year will begin on October 1st. Thank you!!  Cheryl Langman

Fall Chess Club
Register by Sept. 30th for the early bird pricing. Beginning and experienced K-8 grade students are invited to sign up. The club meets Tuesdays, Oct 8-Dec 10. Details

No Shorts, Oct. 1st - Apr. 30th
As outlined in our uniform policy, please do not wear shorts from Oct. 1st until May 1st.

Pet Blessing, Oct. 3rd
We will have our annual pet blessing out on the back playground at 2pm. Pets may be brought to school at that time. Please be sure that all pets are on a leash or in a carrier (for safety).

KISS Day, Oct. 4th
Kids Invite Someone Special Day will 
commence with 10am Mass followed  by classroom visits, brunch, and a craft. Students may leave with their guest at 1pm or stay for the rest of the day. The RSVP form is coming home today.  RSVPs are due Sept. 25th !!  If you are interested in making a special HOMEMADE
dessert for KISS Day, please contact  Kate Wimmer We are asking for donations of gently-used children's books for charity. You may buy new, but it's not necessary. Bring them that day.

Playground Duty - 2 per day
Two volunteers  are needed from 11:25am-12:40pm. V olunteers allow the teachers to have a lunch break.  Details and sign up for an Aug-Dec slot(s).

Children's Liturgy of the Word
Middle/high school and adult volunteers are needed during the 9am Masses.  Sign Up .

Mass Childcare Volunteers
Volunteer to help  in the childcare room during any weekend Mass.

Hope Center Meal, Oct. 2nd
Families with children grade 5+ are invited to provide food and serve dinner in Waukesha from 5-7pm. Sign Up

Wanted - HS Basketball CYM Leader
Parent/adult interested in heading up the high school CYM basketball program should contact Cindi Petre. Season is Dec.-Feb.
Classroom Corner

Grades K-8 celebrated Mass at St. John Vianney with Padre Joe.

Buddy classes tied blankets that will be blessed and then given to kids with cancer.

5K discussed the blanket tying service project and how it reflects our school's "We are Called" theme. They created a picture to show how these blankets will help others.
Prayers, Celebrations, & Gratitude
Please pray for those affected by cancer: those no longer with us, survivors, those undergoing treatment and their families, the medical staff and researchers. Pray for Eli Hansen and the Frank family.

7 year old parishioner Eli Hansen & many of God's children, young and old, in our St. Anthony's family impacted by cancer need our prayers! September 25th is our annual Childhood Cancer Awareness Mass.

Will you respond to the call to lift up all God's children impacted by cancer and participate in the Adoration & Prayer Opportunities offered this week?
