The Class of 2020

Grades 5-8,
I hope everyone is having success in selling their calendar raffle tickets. You should have received the sign up genius with options to sell YOUR tickets in the gathering space after Mass. Don't forget to talk to the younger grade families, teachers, your family, friends or parish members about purchasing a ticket from YOU! Who wouldn't want to win $$!
I can't stress enough the importance of selling your calendar raffles. This is an important fundraiser and we will need 100% participation from everyone. I know people do not like selling to their families all the time but if you realize this is the only time they'll be asked to buy, maybe it will be received differently.  If you have any further questions please let me know.
Thank you,
September 3, 2019
From the Desk of Ellen Knippel, Principal

Dear Parents,
Thanks for the GREAT turnout for our two parent sessions last week. We had very few families that were unable to attend! We all appreciate you making this meeting a priority. If you have questions that are still unanswered, please do not hesitate to contact your child's teacher for clarification.

MAP Testing for K5-8 begins this week (your child's teacher will give you their specific schedule). Please be sure your child gets enough rest and eats a good breakfast this week and next. Also, if at all possible, do not schedule appointments where children will be out of the building.

Thanks to everyone who is snaking through the parking lot in the morning!  You are doing great!  If your family could leave home just a few minutes earlier, it would be very helpful to everyone else.  We seem to have a rush between 7:15 and 7:20 - and that's causing the bottleneck.  Remember, first bell is at 7:20, tardy bell at 7:25, and school start at 7:30.

Also, please do not park and walk your children across the car rider line.  It slows up the line and is dangerous for you and your children.  Thanks!

Our school year is off to an amazing start! Let's work to keep up this spirit!

We once again invite you to submit the name(s) of loved ones impacted by any form of cancer, to be represented with a flower brought forth to the altar as their names are read during intentions. Names may be submitted to Annie Staebler  by September 21st. Please indicate in your email whether you will be able to join us at Mass to carry the flower to the altar as your loved one's name is read.
