From the Desk of Ellen Knippel, Principal

Dear Parents,
Is it really possible that it is October already!? This month has flown by! The weather is supposed to be pretty warm all week so we will extend the "shorts policy" for an additional week. Please remember that Friday is a Mass day so no shorts on Friday!

We look forward to KISS day this Friday, October 4th. Lots of planning has gone into the day! Lunch will be delicious! Please remember to bring in your gently-used children's books. There are bins outside the office door and outside the Science Lab! We would LOVE to see them FILLED! Books will be donated to the Next Door foundation.

I have had the question brought to me: Why do I have to wait in the car rider line if others cut across and make us all wait? This is a very fair question. The car rider line is for your child's safety and the efficiency of all. We have had an increase of parents picking up or dropping off students in the lot. PLEASE be patient and wait your turn. If you are in a hurry, get here a little earlier and be at the front of the line. The buses leave promptly at 2:30. That is when the car line begins. If you CANNOT wait in line, please park on the far end of the church (beyond the overhang) and walk down the sidewalk. That way, you don't cut across and hopefully this will keep everyone safe and happy.
