Los Angeles Fire Department will have a COVID-19 vaccination distribution site on Los Angeles Southwest College's (LASC) campus in Parking Structure 8 starting Tuesday, April 6, to provide vaccinations to individuals in eligible tiers. Appointments will be available through myturn.ca.govThe
vaccination site will operate up to six days a week and participants will enter and exit campus via the Denker Avenue gate. Learn more.

Summer Session classes are in two parts: Summer Session I is from June 14-July 18 and Summer Session II is from July 19-August 22. All classes will be taught remotely. Learn more.
Spring Break is from Monday, April 5, to Friday, April 9. The afternoon of April 9 is the actual Friday of Spring Break and is a half day and employees only need to work four hours.

LACCD's Board of Trustees approved extending the Supplementary Retirement Plan (SRP). Eligible employees who wish to participate in the SRP have the option of resigning from the District on June 30 or December 31. Learn more. LASC Sociology Professor Dr. Kristine Wright will moderate a talk with the authors -- Jeff Chang and Dave “Davey D” Cook -- of the Young Adult adaptation of "Can’t Stop Won’t Stop" that explores Hip-Hop's beginnings to the present day.
