Celebrate Black History Month throughout the month of February with the Los Angeles Southwest College (LASC) Cougars! The festivities kick off with a welcome event at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 1, as our HBCU Alumni and Campus Community share the purpose and pride of attending an HBCU. Make sure to attend and participate at all of the events this month. LASC in partnership with Krogers/Ralphs pharmacy will host a vaccination center on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 2-3, and February 9-10. Initial availability is only for residents who are 65 years old and older. You must register here.
Los Angeles Community College District's (LACCD) Information Technology Department is in the process of moving all nine colleges' SharePoint pages to the cloud to take advantage of new Cloud SharePoint features. You can learn more here.
LASC's Lakin Center will serve as a polling place for the upcoming state Senate District 30 election. Voters can cast their ballots from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. February 20 to March 1 as well as from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Election Day, March 2. Candidates running to fill this seat can be viewed here.
LASC's Spring Flex Day will be from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. February 5. The theme will be "Owning Our New Realities." Register for the morning session from 9-11:10 a.m. and the afternoon breakout session from 1-4:30 p.m.

The Dream Resource Center will host "UndocuZoom" at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. every Wednesday during Winter Session for students, parents, and community members to connect with and build a community among LASC's undocumented population.
