Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) and its nine colleges, including LASC, will deliver all classes for the 2021 Winter Session and 2021 Spring Semester in primarily remote/online learning environments for the remainder of the academic year. Learn more.

Furniture and equipment are not reimbursable, so do not purchase these items out of pocket and request reimbursement. If you need supplies, work with your department supervisor and/or administrative secretary to request supplies you may need to work productively from home.

Expecting something from LASC's Receiving Department? The office is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you have questions about your order, email [email protected] with your vendor information and purchase order number and begin making plans to pick it up.
Even though LASC's physical library is closed, faculty librarians are available to provide research instruction on a variety of topics. If you are interested in having a librarian visit your class, submit an instruction request form and a librarian will be assigned to your class.
LACCD's Office for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will have standing Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) training for hiring committee members and EEO representatives during the 2020 Fall Semester. Training is open to all employees, but an RSVP is required. Learn more. The next training is 1 to 3:30 October 9.
LACCD's Board of Trustees has approved the offering of a Supplementary Retirement Plan (SRP) to District employees who are eligible to retire under CalPERS or CalSTRS. The SRP will assist employees with their retirement
planning by providing supplemental income. Learn more and review the FAQ.
The Los Angeles Community Colleges remains committed to standing with DACA recipients and other undocumented immigrants and providing them with educational opportunities. The Foundation for Los Angeles Community College has created a giving campaign for our undocumented students. Consider donating. Learn more.
LASC's Lakin Center will serve as an in-person voting center from October 24 to November 3 for the upcoming General Election. Voters will be able to cast their ballots in-person or drop-off their mail-in ballots from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. October 24 to November 2 and from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Election Day, November 3. LASC's Career Center will be hosting an interactive Resume Workshop from 10:30 a.m. to noon this Wednesday, September 23, that will help students adjust their resume on the spot. This opportunity is only open to 10 students, so students should be encouraged to register today!
LASC's Dream Resource Center in collaboration with CHIRLA will have a free DACA renewal clinic on Tuesday, September 22. Immigration fees will be covered but space is limited. Appointments can be booked here.
