Celebrate Black History Month in February with LASC! The festivities officially start with a kick-off event at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, with poetry, music, imagery and brief testimonials from community members and LASC alumni. Learn more about all of the upcoming events.
LASC is excited to launch its Program Pathways Mapper! The online mapper details academic opportunities at LASC in a concise manner while providing students with a clear roadmap of classes they need to graduate. Think of it as the college catalog, but customizable for each LASC student. Learn more.

To provide students with reliable, high-speed internet access — and in keeping with social-distancing directives issued by county, state, and national officials — LASC is launching “Drive-Up Wi-Fi” at its campus starting Monday, Feb. 8. Learn more.
LASC's science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) programs are actively involved in bringing more opportunities to students related to their career. LASC's Spring Semester Welcome Week hosted by LASC's Associated Students Organization (ASO) on Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 10-11, is meant to celebrate the start of Spring Semester and invite students to join, create or re-charter a club; participate in activities; chat with ASO members; win prizes; and so much more. In recognition of Presidents Day, LASC's operations will be closed on Friday, Feb. 12, and Monday, Feb. 15, and Saturday and Sunday, February 13-14, will be non-instruction days. Classes resume February 16.

LASC's Financial Aid Office encourages students to utilize GetAnswers, an online library of short 60-90 second videos accessible on-demand. GetAnswers' videos detail complex financial aid information in an easy to understand style. Learn more.
