Los Angeles Southwest College's (LASC) Spring Semester begins the week of February 8. Register today to continue toward your goal of aquiring a degree, earning a promotion, or starting a new career. LASC will be offering many zero-textbook cost (ZTC) and open educational resources' (OER) courses this Spring Semester. LASC's Behavioral and Social Sciences Department will be offering engaging classes online this Spring Semester. LASC is getting ready to celebarate Black History Month throughout the month of February with several great events. Make sure to attend and participate. Learn more.
LASC's Student Services Offices will be closed from 1-2:30 p.m. this Thursday, January 28, for mandatory training. These offices include Financial Aid, Admissions and Records, CalWORKS and more.
LASC in partnership with Kroger Health will host a COVID-19 vaccination center on Tuesday and Wednesday, January 26-27, as well as February 2-3 and 9-10. Initial availability is only for locals who are 65 years old and older. Registration is here.

All LASC students can receive free academic tune-ups on a variety of subjects that are all just a mouse-click away with online tutoring on NetTutor in two ways:
  • Through Canvas by clicking on the "NetTutor" link in any Canvas shell
  • Click "Online Tutoring" once you've logged in here.

LASC's Financial Aid Office encourages students to utilize GetAnswers, an online library of short 60-90 second videos accessible on-demand. GetAnswers' videos detail complex financial aid information in an easy to understand style. Learn more.
