LASC's academic counselors have online Express Office Hours from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, September 8-10, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, September 11. Hours on Saturday, September 12, will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. No appointment is needed. Meet with a counselor here.
The African American Outreach Initiative (AAOI) of the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) will host its Welcome Black Student Kickoff from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, September 9. The live, online event will feature student speakers, counseling assistance, and strategic tools for students to succeed at their local campus. New and continuing students are invited. Learn more.

All students are invited to a Remote Learning Forum from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, September 11, on Zoom to discuss online support for the 2020 Fall Semester. LASC's Trio Scholars Program's goal is to assist students in obtaining their associate's degree and transfer to a four-year college/university of their choice. Need support with math? Our online Math Lab is available from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Mondays to Thursdays as well as 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays on Zoom. This opportunity is free for all LASC students. Learn more.

LASC's campus will host a drive-through flu clinic sponsored by Ralphs/Kroger tentatively from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Saturday, September 12, as well as September 19 in Parking Lot 3. Enter campus via the Western Avenue entrance. The clinic is located in front of the Student Services Building. All are welcome to attend.
LASC's Lakin Center will serve as an in-person voting center from October 24 to November 3 for the upcoming General Election. Voters will be able to cast their ballots in-person or drop-off their mail-in ballots from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. October 24 to November 2 and from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Election Day, November 3.
