  • The Sunday night meals are hosted by a different group each week. The price may change each week (varying from $5-$7/each or $20-$25/family) depending on what is being served. As soon as we have that information, we will pass it along. It will be posted on the sign up. A reminder will also go out each Monday via email to RSVP and the meal details will be included. Please RSVP by noon on Wednesday of each week for the upcoming Sunday so that we may prepare.
  • If you have not yet responded to our "College Ministry" announcement (see below), please do so. It is important that our college students know how important they are to us. We want to continue to nurture a "healthy relationship" with our children.
  • Project Agape Christmas Shoe Boxes are due back at the church by Sunday, September 23. There is a shoe box drop off table in the back of the lobby. For questions or more information, contact Debbie Richards at or 704-962-4874; or visit The Project Agape article on our website.

College Ministry
To ALL PARENTS of college students, please send us the proper mailing address (including proper name), cell phone and email of your college student. Even if this isn’t their first year and you sent us the information before, please send it again. We are starting with a fresh list. We want our students to know we love them and are praying for them throughout the school year.
To EVERYONE—would you like to “adopt” a college student? We will give you the name and address of one of our college students so you can send them encouraging notes, small gifts or gift cards, or care packages. Email:

Congregational Challenge!  The Silent Auction Committee of the Fall Community Extravaganza is collecting items. Last year, we challenged each family in the congregation to make a donation, and you overwhelmed us with your generosity! The best part was that the donations were creative and unique to the donor. We had babysitting, bike repair, airplane rides, not to mention the vacation homes, golf foursomes and professional sports tickets just to name a few. Donor forms are available in the lobby. Please pick one up and keep it with you to complete when Silent Auction inspiration strikes!
