We cannot look away. We must take action.
We must confront the uncomfortable.
Brad and Anne Mitchell have started a book discussion group, which is open to anyone interested. They are discussing Ibram Kendi’s book, “How to Be An Antiracist.”
They meet on Sundays at 4pm at Huntersville United Methodist Church outside under the breezeway (bring your own lawnchair). Zoom will also be available (RSVP for link).
They started last Sunday (May 31) with an introduction to the topic and getting to know each other. This week they will begin discussing the opening chapters. Note: the book seems to be in short supply locally and online. You may purchase the Kindle version on Amazon
From Brad and Anne: Everyone is welcome! Please invite your neighbors and friends. We are by no means experts on this topic but are interested in learning together.
