We would like to say a big THANK YOU to all of you who donated school supplies. We will continue to collect supplies through this Sunday.

We will be giving these supplies to our neighbors at Deer Hill, a subsidized housing option for economically disadvantaged folks in our community (as well as two other schools).
Our Student Ministry hopes to develop an ongoing relationship with Deer Hill so that we are relationally invested in the community. Please pray for those who have obstacles to overcome just to have an opportunity to get a good education.

Children's Ministry Update
On Sunday, August 26, at the 10:30 service, all students, teachers, and parents are invited to bring their backpacks to receive a special blessing for the coming school year.
If you are in third or fourth grade, the church would like to honor you with a Bible on Sunday, September 9 during the 10:30 service. Parents —please email  Pam Hegedus with the proper spelling of your child's full name. We do not want to miss anyone.

For more information on everything happening in Children's Ministry, read the Children's Ministry Weekly Newsletter on our website.

Attention Parents of Confirmation Age Students If your child is in 7th grade or higher and is interested in going through the confirmation process, please contact Pastor Paul or the church office.
As a church that wants to invest in creating healthy families, Huntersville UMC has made this valuable event FREE and OPEN to the PUBLIC. We do ask that if you would like to share in the community meal, that you would RSVP and pay a suggested donation on the night of the event.
