Fall Community Extravaganza Update
When God calls....

Sometimes you may not be sure how you know if God is calling you to take on a responsibility. For me, it was a nudge, and Pastor Paul point blank asking me to chair Our Fall Community Extravaganza!!

As God would have it, I had no idea the blessings I would receive in making this commitment. To work with an incredible team and see our church and community come together was far beyond my expectations. Over the past 5 years, we have been blessed to offer a day of community fellowship, as well as raise money for many missions.

At this time, I feel God is leading me elsewhere and therefore it is time for me to step down as FCE Chair. In my heart, I believe God will call someone to take this on if He wants our church to continue the FCE. Is it a big job?! Yes, but I will gladly work with you to make the transition as easy as possible. The best part of it is the entire church is part of this... it is something we all believe in for the life of our church.

If you are not familiar with the FCE, it takes place in October. The day includes vendor sales, BBQ, silent auction, car show, children’s activities and more! Several people co chair the different aspects of the day and it’s a very worthwhile event.

I pray our church will be able to continue this very important day. Please listen if you feel a “nudge” to lead this. I would love to discuss it with any of you! Please contact me by March 29th via my email address. A decision about the future of FCE will need to be made soon.

Thank you to all for your love and support during these past 5 years. I couldn’t have done any of this without you.
