  • There will be no Saturday Evening service this week.
  • This Sunday is Thrive Celebration Sunday. We will have both 8:30 and 10:30 services. Cameron Floyd will join the Praise Band this Sunday at 10:30. He will give a special concert following the service during our Thrive Celebration meal. (See below).

You’ll be alerted the second you’ve been outbid so you can submit your next bid. Bidding instructions are provided on the website. Payment can be accepted online or in person at the church. Not sure about mobile bidding? We will be on site to help and have a computer available at the auction to help you place your bids. Items are still being added and information updated until the website is activated so make sure to check and  re-check often! The site is active now for viewing only. Bidding begins Saturday, October 26 at 8:00 a.m. and will close at 4:00 p.m.
Thrive Celebration Sunday
Join us on Sunday, October 27, after the 10:30 service as we celebrate our Thrive Campaign. We will have a catered meal and be treated to a concert by Cameron Floyd! We hope you will join us. Click  HERE  to RSVP with the number in your family, including yourself.
Annual Charge Conference
Our annual Charge Conference is scheduled for Sunday, November 3 immediately following the 10:30 service. All are invited to attend.
Pumpkin Rolls for Sale!
The HUMW annual Pumpkin Roll Sale has started. The ladies are hard at work! Orders will be taken through November 17.

If you are interested in ordering one or more of these delicious desserts, call Tabitha in the Church Office (704-875-1156).

The price of each roll is $12.00. We are only making 240 pumpkin rolls this year, so don’t wait too long to place your order. Pick up dates are every Sunday starting October 27 through November 24.
Children's Ministry News

We invite all children (adults too) to dress up in their Halloween attire this Sunday!  (Please no masks or weapons). Children will be decorating treat bags in their 9:30 Sunday School classes before they begin trick or treating at 10:00 a.m. Adults are welcome to decorate a church door and hand out nut-free, kid friendly treats to the kids at this time. (Trick or treating will begin at 10:00am until 10:25am)

Not Here is in need of gloves, hats, socks and underwear (Men’s & Women’, all sizes).

A donation bin is located in the front lobby.
Food Pantry
We are in need of donations:  oatmeal, grits, rice, canned fruit, canned vegetables  . Donation bins are located in both lobbies.

FYI--Harris Teeter has a sale on select canned vegetables this Friday, Saturday and Sunday only.
