Advent Discussion Group - “The Chosen”
Wednesday Afternoons at 1:00pm

The series will be screened in the John V. Lawrence fellowship hall with lunch provided!

"The Chosen is based on the true stories of the gospels of Jesus Christ. Some locations and timelines have been combined or condensed. Backstories and some characters or dialogue have been added. However, all biblical and historical context and any artistic imagination are designed to support the truth and intention of the Scriptures. Viewers are encouraged to read the gospels."
The Chosen, Director Dallas Jenkins

The series aims to highlight that just like the biblical characters portrayed in the series, we all bring flaws and fears to our relationship with Jesus. We are “Chosen” by Christ not because we are perfect but, because of Jesus, we can answer the call to be in relationship with God with confidence.

Please come join us as we watch and discuss this series through the season of Advent!
COVID Safety Measures

Fully vaccinated persons are not required to wear masks indoors during worship services. General safety protocols in effect in the state of Connecticut states that unvaccinated individuals must continue to wear masks indoors. Thank you for your support as we strive to create a safe and comfortable environment for everyone attending our Sunday worship services.
