What will you miss most about St Sava community? I will miss the people of our community the most. Throughout the years I have formed relationships with people that I now consider to be my sisters, brothers, and even parents. I was able to walk into any room and be surrounded by people who have seen me grow over the past 18 years, who have been some of my main encouragers through out the years, and who I know will follow and support me for anything my future presents.
What is your favorite memory of St. Sava Church/community? My favorite memory from the community is when around 20 young adults got together and thought we could feed 250+ people a full three course dinner service- and thought it would be easy. I can confidently say that everyone showed their true colors that kafansko vece, and I absolutely loved it.
What has the Serbian community in Boston meant to you growing up? The Serbian community has shown me what accountability means. It taught me to never make excuses and always hold my weight. No matter how many times I thought I was too busy for Folklore or singing practice, I always knew there would be be a room full of people waiting and holding me accountable. It taught me how beautiful my culture is and that it is up to us to keep in alive and flourishing.
What are you most looking forward to in college? I am most looking forward to applying everything I have been taught these 18 years in new ways in college. I am excited for the independence and I can't wait to see the opportunities that are waiting for me. I am looking forward to carrying my culture and herritage with me whenever I go, as well as learning about others.

Pentecost - Trinity Sunday

On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified. Therefore many from the crowd, when they heard this saying, said, “Truly this is the Prophet.” Others said, “This is the Christ.” But some said, “Will the Christ come out of Galilee? Has not the Scripture said that the Christ comes from the seed of David and from the town of Bethlehem, where David was?” So there was a division among the people because of Him. Now some of them wanted to take Him, but no one laid hands on Him. Then the officers came to the chief priests and Pharisees, who said to them, “Why have you not brought Him?” The officers answered, “No man ever spoke like this Man!” Then the Pharisees answered them, “Are you also deceived? Have any of the rulers or the Pharisees believed in Him? But this crowd that does not know the law is accursed.” Nicodemus (he who came to Jesus by night, being one of them) said to them, “Does our law judge a man before it hears him and knows what he is doing?” They answered and said to him, “Are you also from Galilee? Search and look, for no prophet has arisen out of Galilee.”
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
