Dear Parents,

We look forward to welcoming your children back to Sunday School for the 2021/2022 school year! Classes start on September 26! This year after Liturgy lunch will be served in the Church Hall. (This is subject to change; if it does change, we will notify you of the affected school schedule changes ASAP.) Classes that take place outside will not require masks. Classes that take place inside will require kids to wear masks, in accordance with the current Cambridge mandates. By completing and submitting the bellow forms, you are agreeing that your child(ren) will comply with the mask guidelines set forth by the St. Sava Cathedral Sunday School program.

To simplify the process for parents, this email provides the registration instructions and forms for all the available classes. Please fill out the attached/linked sign-up sheets for:

The first Folk Dance Rehearsal will serve as a placement audition for all participating children. Please have your child join their specific age group at that first class, regardless of which group they have practiced with before. After the first rehearsal, parents will be notified of any group changes/advance placement of their child(ren), depending on their dancing abilities.

If you are unable to pay for Kometa or Folk Dance lessons but would like to participate, please contact Lidia Vogner or Djordje Koldzic, respectively.

Here is this year's schedule:
*If there are any students who overlap within these 2 groups, the church school program will shuffle the schedule a bit in order to allow for participation in both activities.

13th Sunday after Pentecost

Hear another parable: There was a certain landowner who planted a vineyard and set a hedge around it, dug a winepress in it and built a tower. And he leased it to vinedressers and went into a far country. Now when vintage-time drew near, he sent his servants to the vinedressers, that they might receive its fruit. And the vinedressers took his servants, beat one, killed one, and stoned another. Again he sent other servants, more than the first, and they did likewise to them. Then last of all he sent his son to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’ But when the vinedressers saw the son, they said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him and seize his inheritance.’ So they took him and cast him out of the vineyard and killed him. Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those vinedressers?” They said to Him, “He will destroy those wicked men miserably, and lease his vineyard to other vinedressers who will render to him the fruits in their seasons.” Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: ‘The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone. This was the LORD’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes’?
