A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Trunk or Treat such a fun and successful event! Whether you decorated a trunk, donated candy, volunteered your time, or joined us for the fun, you helped create a wonderful evening of community, connection, and joy.

It was a blessing to welcome so many children and families and see the smiles, laughter, and love of Christ shining throughout the event. We are grateful for the generosity, creativity, and servant hearts that make events like this possible.

Super Friends This Sunday

Our special needs ministry, Super Friends, will meet this Sunday, November 1. We offer a parent support group for parents of children of any age with special needs. While parents are meeting, we have a fun Sunday school class for our Super Friends. Both groups meet on the first Sunday of the month from 10:30 - 11:15 am. The parent group will meet in Room H and the Super Friends class will meet in Room G. For questions, please contact Heather at hbrannock@sapctucson.org.

Art Gallery Show

Featured Artist: Stan Thorud

October 25 through December 6

Featured artist, Stan Thorud, now of Tucson, Arizona, has “lived” in 49 of the 50 states over the last 20 years and has been a full-time RVer for the past 13 years. He produced his first oil painting in an eighth-grade art class, creating a few more before beginning a career as a product designer (during which he switched to acrylics for several pieces). After a 40-year hiatus, he picked up painting again in 2017 at the request of a friend, Kathy Carter. Now, 250 paintings later—and after dedicating themselves to each other this past August—he says of his work, “I’ve found that my purpose in life is to bring joy to people’s lives, and painting is how I do it.”

Faith on Tap

Faith on Tap is a chance for men to gather and talk about issues relating to their lives and faith that meets every other month in someone's living room. Our next meeting will be on November 13. Dinner will be provided, but BYOB. Please RSVP with Pastor Raully at rdonahue@sapctucson.org so that we know how much food to prepare. See you there!

Choir Opportunity: Christmas Concert

Join the Chancel Choir for our upcoming Christmas Concert! Rehearsals take place in the SW Sanctuary at 7:00 pm (approx. 40 minutes) on Nov 4, Nov 11, Nov 18, Dec 2, and Dec 9, with the dress rehearsal on Dec 10.

If you plan to attend, please notify Mark Gary at markG@sapctucson.org at least two days in advance so we can prepare your sheet music.

Our adult Sunday School class will meet in the choir room at 10:45 am to continue our study of how God's promises shaped the lives of Sarah and Abraham. This Sunday we will be talking about Genesis 15 where God 'cuts' a covenant with Abram in a vision to assure him of His promise of a heir.

Stephen Ministry: Caring Support When You Need It Most

If you have wanted to be a Stephen Minister but have not been sure you have the time or skills needed to be effective, God will equip you to listen, to pray, to encourage and to communicate his love and hope.
