Preparing for Hybrid and Full Remote Learning
All Pittsburgh Public Schools (PPS), including Pittsburgh CAPA, will be opening on Monday, November 9, to welcome students and staff back in school buildings under a hybrid model of in-school instruction and learning remotely. The hybrid model of AA/BB is an in-school model where students spend two days in school and three days remotely. Students remaining in full-time remote learning will be placed in Cohort C.

Families should expect a mailing this week from CAPA with important information for your artist's assigned cohort. Families may return to full-time remote learning at any time during the school year by contacting the school. The request to switch back to the hybrid model is not permitted until the second semester at the end of January 2021. The window for communicating your preference will be open in mid-January 2021.

Each week, we will be providing updates for families with specific details for hybrid instruction at CAPA. Read HERE for our first week's listing of updates and important information.
