It's Easter Weekend at AYC!
It is a full 3 days of Easter Weekend excitement at Arrowhead this weekend, highlighted by our In-Water Boat Show, a Saturday Easter Egg Hunt and the return of Sunday Brunch to Arrowhead on Easter Sunday. There really is something for EVERYBODY this weekend at AYC!
The In-Water Boat Show kicks off the weekend on Friday and runs through Sunday.
All weekend you are invited to come to the dock at AYC and see some of the best boats available. And since it's an In-Water Show, you have the chance to ride in and drive these boats.
There will be new and pre-owned boats on display and ready for immediate test drives.
We have scheduled test drives for some of the more popular boats, including the Cobalt A-40 and the Cobalt CS-25 and scheduled surf demos to educate on the amazing Cobalt surf technology.
Some of the highlights of the boats that will be on display:
The Cobalt A-40 - the Flagship of the Cobalt line.
We have scheduled tours with Joe and Brenda serving as Captain(s) at 1 pm and 3 pm each day that will include Cobalt Wine and cheese offering as you enjoy the absolute best yachting experience that Grand Lake has to offer. The A-40 has everything you look for in a boat - it's a day boat that has all the power and agility for a great day on the lake and it's an evening cruiser that has all the comfort and luxury you want for those overnight adventures. This is a rare opportunity to experience the A-40 in action, and you don't want to miss it.
The all new Cobalt SC-25 Outboard powered runabout.
The SC-25 is brand new for this year and this the 1st ever Cobalt boat to be powered by a Mercury Outboard motor. The scheduled rides are at Noon and 2 pm each day, giving you the opportunity to experience the smooth and quiet ride, stylish comfort and impeccable handling in these beautiful boats. The popularity of outboard runabouts has been growing at Grand Lake and around the country and this is your first ever chance to experience the quality that is the Cobalt SC-25.

Summer is coming fast, and many of you are traveling here from a distance to enjoy some time
on the lake so I thought I'd give you a quick checklist to go over in the event you get there
and your boat just cranks, or won't start. Last week I mentioned the batteries, so this week I'm
going to give you a mental checklist to go over before calling the service department and potentially
Saving you some money, time and sanity.
Common Boat Starting Issues & Causes:

| Are the battery switches turned to the ON position? |
|
|
|
| Is the Safety Lanyard correctly installed?The boat won't start if it's not installed. |
|
|
|
| Is the Shift Lever in the NEUTRAL position? |
|
|
|
| How much fuel is in your tank? |
|
ALL of these things may seem silly but HAVE happened and resulted in time lost on the lake
waiting for the technician to get there, as well as cost of a service call.....So if you get
to the boat and it won't start- go over these things to rule them out, and if it still
won't start; give us a call and we'll be glad to help!

This is the time of year to really enjoy the lake. The weather is perfect, and the sunsets are magnificent. All the restaurants, clubs ,and ship stores are now open. We are open all year. We here at Arrowhead Boat Sales Grove want to wish everyone a very Happy Easter. Boating season is here and the water temperature has passed the 60° mark and has reached as high as 65°. This is the week of the full moon, a perfect time for an evening boat ride. Lake level is up; GRDA reports its current level at 744.12 feet. So all in all it was a great weekend for the Ranger / Triton tournament at Wolf creek. There next event at Wolf Creek will be May 21.

Easter Weekend - We have made every effort to provide many activities and events aimed at
enhancing you and your family's good times and having even better memories of this hoppy weekend. It's not JUST an In-Water Boat Show. We have some very unique and outstanding boats that you can not only look at, but also, are welcome to go for a ride and drive. In addition to most the Cobalt line for 2017, we will also have three totally unique boats covering three distinctly different boating categories.
We have the Flagship Cobalt A-40. A diesel-powered huge open cockpit boat that is ideally suited to Grand Lake rafting out and day boating with adventurous overnight raft out capabilities. Brenda and

As you can see we had a really memorable and fun time at the Bootleggers Ball last weekend.
Great turn out in support of the Chamber and I sincerely thank you for your support of the Chamber
and GRDA. This year we were able to raise $15,000 + after expenses and added 36 new Chamber members! This is the year I expect to see the permanent fix to the annual drain down of Grand Lake. Your support is essential. If you own a boat or property or both you need to support and be a member
of the South Grand Lake Chamber.
Thanks for all you do. Right now, every day is longer and warmer. I highly recommend you gather
your family up and come to Grand Lake and enjoy a memory filled and blessed Easter.

Ketchum High School Class of 2017 Honor Graduates
Michelle Trapp is graduating as Ketchum High School's Valedictorian for the Class of 2017. Her future plans include attending OSU in the fall. Michelle attends the Cleora United Methodist Church where she has filmed church services for the past three years. She participates in gifted and talented meetings. She has been a Polar Bear shopper for the past two years. She has volunteered by preparing food bags at the Blue House. She is part of the National Society for High School Scholars with an ACT score of 30. She has been in the National Honors Society for the past 3 years and has served as their president this year. She won the Oklahoma Youth Tour essay contest and went on an all- expense paid trip to Washington D.C. Michelle won an essay contest and was chosen to be in the Summer Scholar's Program in Coral Gables, Florida, where she earned college credit last summer. Michelle is graduating with a Diploma of Honor and has passed all of her end-of-instruction tests.
Jordyn Campbell is graduating as Ketchum High School's Salutatorian for the Class of 2017. Her future plans include attending NSU in the fall. Jordyn is part of our 2016 state champion cheerleading team. She has cheered since she was in elementary. She has also been a part of Student Council for 3 years, National Honor Society for 3 years, and track for 2 years. Jordyn has volunteered at the Bethesda Free Clinic for the past 2 years greeting patients and helping with secretarial tasks. She is graduating with a Diploma of Honor.
Laylah Matthews is graduating as Ketchum High School's Salutatorian for the Class of 2017. Her future plans include attending OSU in the fall. Laylah has been in National Honor Society for the past three years. She is a gifted and talented student. She has served as a volunteer at the Blue House and as a tutor to other KHS students. Laylah is graduating with a Diploma of Honor.
Grant Vanpool is graduating as Ketchum High School's Salutatorian for the Class of 2017. His future plans include attending UCO in the fall and earning a degree in forensic science. Grant volunteers at the local Baptist Church at Vacation Bible School and running sound and leading worship at church. He has been involved in show choir for three years, Fellowship of Christian Athletes for four years, and National Honor Society for two years. Grant is part of our two-time state qualifying baseball team. He has also played football for four years along with announcing the basketball games or two years. He is graduating with a Diploma of Honor.
