Serve on the Altar: Acolyte
Carry the cross and gospel book, light the way for the word of God by bearing the torches, and help prepare the communion table for the Eucharist. The jobs of an acolyte are symbolic and practical at the same time. Young people of all ages are encouraged to join! The only requirements are that an acolyte must be able to participate in an entire church service and handle fire responsibly. In addition to helping serve on the altar, acolytes earn increasing levels of achievement, displayed in their crosses and ribbons. We also have parties and celebrate together!
