Soft Space Update
Our Soft Space will not be returning at this time. We have determined the current space is not quite ideal. There were so many children who wished to be in it that the space couldn't quite meet the demand. Additionally, is was far enough from the Prevost cloister that people had to cross in front of the altar to enter or exit the space.
It has been wonderful to have so many of our families with young children sitting close to the front, to be near the Soft Space, and we encourage them to continue to sit up front so the children can see better and feel more a part of things and so that new parents can meet each other. We also have a new little toy shelf in the cloister, near the front, so that children may choose a toy, puzzle, or book to use during the service, if they wish.
We will continue to think of creative ways to have our children up close and engaged. Many of you have given us wonderful ideas already. Keep them coming!

Come learn more about our largest outreach ministry at Christ Church. If you are new to our parish or just new to Rummage, this is the perfect opportunity to dip your toe in the waters. Elizabeth Parkinson will be hosting this gathering at her home, 321 Linden in Winnetka, on Wednesday, April 26 from 9:00-11:00AM. Free childcare will be provided. Take a break. Have some coffee. See what all the chatter is about. No need to RSVP. Just come.

New Trier Food Pantry Collection
The New Trier Multifaith Alliance is asking the 12 churches and synagogues in our
area to help with the New Trier Food Pantry by sponsoring one month per year. Christ Church has chosen April as our month and we need your help. Christ Church representatives, Sherry Gormanous and Anna Mills will be collecting bags of food brought to the Parish Office and will deliver them to the Pantry. The Food Pantry provides food and basic necessities and is especially in need of canned fruits & vegetables, cereals, paper goods, and laundry detergent. They will keep a running total to report to you and are very thankful for your generous donations.

A Just Harvest - May 9, Tuesday
Christ Church serves twice a month at A Just Harvest, a community kitchen, in Rogers Park, serving dinner 365 days a year to anyone in need. This is a great family opportunity to "reach out". We need cooks (done in your home), servers (age 12+), and people to provide milk, fruit, and salad each time we are "on deck."
