We Will With God's Help...
During the Sundays of Lent at Faith & Practice, Nadia will facilitate a discussion
of the five questions we are asked in our baptismal covenant, which we will renew at Easter. A member of the clergy will share some brief reflections, and then we will ask: what might it look like to live out this promise in your life, and in our world, today?

Holy Week Journey with Jesus: Wednesday, April 12, 5 :30-7:00PM
On Wednesday of Holy Week, our worship will be a hands-on, intergenerational  journey with Jesus through his last days. We'll hear the stories of what went on between Palm Sunday and Good Friday, and we'll put our bodies to work as well as our minds--in the ancient Holy Week traditions of washing feet, sharing a meal, singing, and keeping watch with Jesus. A great way to "put the pieces together", and prepare our hearts for Easter. Dinner is included in this service, which goes from 5:30-7:00PM.
Everyone is welcome to attend; particularly appropriate for children, youth, and those who love them.
Deacon Heath to Retire
Our beloved Deacon, Heath Missner, is retiring from active ministry at Christ Church on Easter Sunday of this year.  Heath has been a parishioner for over twenty years and has been a deacon here for over seven.  She is going to Boston to spend more time with children and grandchildren.  Heath has brought deep wisdom and faithfulness to us through her work as a deacon.  Her contributions have been remarkable and her witness to the Gospel has been far reaching.  She has truly been a "model" of Christian discipleship.  A reception in her honor will be held on Sunday, April 2 at 11AM.

If you would like to contribute to a purse for Heath as she departs, you may do so online here. You may also send a check to the office on her behalf made out to Christ Church.  If you do not wish to include your gift as a charitable contribution on your taxes, you may give her a gift directly.
