Orders close April 30

Celebrate with Bishop Benito, wife Angelica and son Eigner. Join us next Thursday for an authentic Mexican meal - taco or tamale platters. It's the cuisine of Chef Inez, from the super popular Tamale Express at the Evanston Farmer's Market. We'll hear remarks from Bishop Benito and a speaker from the Latino Union.
Help achieve our goal - ALL sharing the same meal in companionship with our friends in SE Mexico.
  • Can't make dinner at Church on the Hill?  Buy the same meal for take-out.
  • Want to surprise someone? Gift a meal to a parishioner.  Purchase as many meals as you wish.

  • Don't miss ordering the irresistible Youth Group salsa - ole!
Two ways to register and order:
Bring or mail your check with "Benito" on memo line to the church office.
¡Hola Guapa! Salsa is back!
Our youth and their grown-ups worked hard chopping veggies to create this year's batch of ¡Hola Guapa! Salsa. Jars will be for sale online through the Bishop Benito Bonanza Dos starting May 1 and in the Prevost Cloister starting May 7. $10/jar, with the proceeds benefiting SE Mexico and the Youth Ministry.

Art Supply Drive
On May 14, Christ Church member Morgan Fisher will be hosting an art supply drive to benefit Family Promise, an agency we work with twice a year that provides temporary housing to homeless families. There is also a center in Evanston where the families stay during the day. This center is in desperate need of art supplies to keep the kids occupied. Remember to have your child bring up your supplies during the offertory at the 9:30 service on May 14.
Our Next Rummage Director Could be You!
We are beginning our search for a parishioner to become our new Christ Church Rummage Director. The Director job is a part-time church staff position which offers tremendous flexibility and the opportunity to be an integral part of our largest and longest running outreach ministry. The position is supported by the 10 member Rummage Steering Committee, an experienced group of volunteers who are involved in all major aspects of our two annual sales. Apply now! Interviewing on a rolling bases.
