Tour Our Bible Village - One Day Only: Today!
Today the third and fourth graders are offering tours of their Bible Village! Please stop by between 11:00-11:30 to see what they have built, and to hear all about the planning and building. There will be costumes, music, and biblically-inspired food. You won't want to miss this! The classroom is on the Nursery level at the back of the hallway.

Today we have Church School classes as usual:
9:30 for age 3 through second grade.
After the service, all grades.
Parish News
Soft Space
Our soft space will be going away for the next two weeks. Palm Sunday and Easter will be too busy for it, with heightened attendance and, potentially, too many children wanting to be in it all at once (certainly a nice problem to have!)
Easter Flower & Music Donations
We appreciate your contribution for Easter flowers and Easter Music at Christ Church . To send your information to us online click here or fill out this form  Easter Memorials And Thanksgivings 2017.pdf
and send it to the office.

Today is the last day to donate and have it
i n the Easter bulletin.
Join us for a new worship experience this Holy Week
Wednesday, April 12, 5 :30-7:00PM
Our worship will be a hands-on, intergenerational  journey with Jesus through his last days. We'll hear the stories of what went on between Palm Sunday and Good Friday, and we'll put our bodies to work as well as our minds--in the ancient Holy Week traditions of washing feet, sharing a meal, singing, and keeping watch with Jesus. A great way to "put the pieces together", and prepare our hearts for Easter. Dinner is included in this service.
Swapping Books and Prayers!
Book Group and Friends in Faith are swapping times!
New meeting times are:
Friends in Faith, Mondays 10:00AM
Book Group, Mondays 11:00AM
Friends in Faith meets in the Lea Room, Book Group meets in the
McClain Room. Please join us!

Opportunities to Serve
New Trier Food Pantry Collection
The New Trier Multifaith Alliance is asking the 12 churches and synagogues in our area to help with the New Trier Food Pantry by sponsoring one month per year. Christ Church has chosen April as our month and we need your help. Christ Church representatives, Sherry Gormanous and Anna Mills will be collecting bags of food brought to the Parish Office and will deliver them to the Pantry. The Food Pantry provides food and basic necessities and is especially in need of canned fruits & vegetables, cereals, paper goods, and laundry detergent. They will keep a running total to report to you and are very thankful for your generous donations.
Boy Scout Troop 18 Bike Drive - Sat., April 22 - 9:00AM-3:00PM
Winnetka Boy Scout Troop 18, which is sponsored by Christ Church, will hold a
used bicycle drive from 9:00AM to 3:00PM on Saturday, April 22, in the parking lot of The Grand grocery store in Winnetka. As his Eagle Scout project, Christop her Hulbert is connected to Working Bikes charity to collect and deliver bikes to the group's headquarters in Chicago. Bike donations are tax deductible. For more information, e-mail CHulbertTroop18EagleProject@gmail.com. Also let Chris know if you have a bike but cannot drop it off. The Troop will pick up bikes from donors upon request.
A Just Harvest - April 28, Saturday
Christ Church serves twice a month at A Just Harvest, a community kitchen, in Rogers Park,  serving dinner 365 days a year to anyone in need. This is a great family opportunity to "reach out". We need cooks (done in your home), servers (age 12+), and people to provide milk, fruit, and salad each time we are "on deck."
