Faith & Practice
"Episcopal Evangelism: it's (even) more fun than it sounds!"  --with Rod & Nadia
We clergy often get asked how we got to be where we are. We love this opportunity to bear witness to God's wily ways in our lives! Presiding Bishop Michael Curry describes Episcopal Evangelism as a spiritual practice where "we seek, name and celebrate Jesus' loving presence in the stories of all people - then invite everyone to MORE."  How is God active in your life, and how do you tell others this good news? We'll start by sharing some of our faith-journey stories, and then ask you about yours.
Taizé Service - Sunday, May 6 at 5:30
If you are in need of an hour of quiet prayer and meditation, please join us for a time of grace and peace. This candlelit, contemplative service will include readings, prayers, and silence interspersed with tuneful chants accompanied by flute and keyboard. The Nursery will be open.

2040 VISION QUESTION:  Why is Christ Church Important to You?
Thank you to everyone and especially, Eric Hillenbrand, for an informative and dynamic Faith and Practice.  We truly appreciate everyone's input and perspective on the rise of secularism and the impact it has and will have on Christ Church.  We look forward to having other opportunities to share what the 2040 Committee is researching and discussing with the larger congregation.

To that point, we are introducing the "2040 Vision Questions" to spark discussion among the congregation, provide broad perspective and feedback to the 2040 Committee and identify other topics for future group presentations or discussions. Look for a 2040 Vision box in the Prevost Cloister and a Survey Monkey link.  We will post a question every two weeks to spark discussion.  Either provide your response in the box or via this LINK
.
Finally, please feel free to reach out to the 2040 CoChairs Peter Macey  petemacey@gmail.com or Molly Hufton   molly.hufton@gmail.com if you would like to get more involved.  We currently have a need for a graphic designer.  Let us know if you can help.
