We Will With God's Help...
For the next four Sundays of Lent at Faith & Practice,
Nadia will facilitate a discussion of the five questions we are asked in our baptismal covenant, which we will renew at Easter. A member of the clergy will share some brief reflections, and then we will ask: what might it look like to live out this promise in your life, and in our world, today?
This Sunday, March 5:
Will you persevere in resisting evil, and, whenever you
fall into sin, repent and return to the Lord?

Deacon Heath to Retire
Our beloved Deacon, Heath Missner, is retiring from active ministry at Christ Church on Easter Sunday of this year. Heath has been a parishioner for over twenty years and has been a deacon here for over seven. She is going to Boston to spend more time with children and grandchildren. Heath has brought deep wisdom and faithfulness to us through her work as a deacon. Her contributions have been remarkable and her witness to the Gospel has been far reaching. She has truly been a "model" of Christian discipleship. A reception in her honor will be held on Sunday, April 2 at 11AM.
For a copy of her letter to the parish,
If you would like to contribute to a purse for Heath as she departs, you may do so online here. You may also send a check to the office on her behalf made out to Christ Church. If you do not wish to include your gift as a charitable contribution on your taxes, you may give her a gift directly.
