Warriors PINK OUT is October 12
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This year, the Fairview Athletics department is working with Connie Morris (FHS Class of '77) and others at the Moll Cancer Center at Fairview Hospital, as well as Gayle Dill and Student Council, to elevate the traditional "Pink Out" at the mid-October home game.

If you or someone you know has been touched by breast cancer, we would like to invite you on to the track for our Circle of Hope at half-time during the October 12 football game to be recognized as a  PINK WARRIOR.

Also, Budding Yoga will offer a gentle flow yoga practice at the high school Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 9:00 am. All donations will go to the Moll Center.

FROM ANDY SLACK
Madison H. has been working above and beyond her abilities in Algebra 1 this year. She is asking questions and seeking help when needed. Her hard work is paying off and her confidence in her math class has been infectious to other students.

FROM PROCRASTINATORS'S CLUB/ANDY BRUENING
The procrastinator's club meeting got postponed. Once we meet, we will begin discussing selling for our fundraisers our "Round Tuits."

FROM HEATHER DELIS
Senior engineering students visited First Energy in Brecksville this week. Working in groups that included First Energy engineers and fellow engineering students from nearby districts, they planned and presented their ideas on how to improve our power grid. Congratulations to Blaise A. for being part of the winning group!
