Food Pantry Needs

Going to the grocery store this week? Want to help people? Click on the button below for a list of food categories we would like to replenish.

Please pick up a few extra items at the grocery store for our Food Pantry! We especially need:

• Mac & cheese, rice, beans, canned chicken, canned fruit

Tuesday, the Food Pantry served 37 families or 111 people. See the list at the link below.

Please remember the Food Pantry all summer long by making a donation on our secure giving page. Select 'Food Pantry' from the drop-down menu.

Generosity is our response to God’s unconditional love and an expression of our gratitude.

Summer Sunday Cafe

Next breakfast will be held July 23, at 9:00 AM in the Parish Hall

With Special Presentation by Episcopal Charities of Southeast Florida

Join us for this free breakfast in the Parish Hall between services for a time of fellowship and a delicious meal prepared by our Worship Teams: Vergers, Eucharistic Ministers & Intercessors. We will also hear from Rhonda Clinton, Executive Director of Episcopal Charities of Southeast Florida -- a valued ministry partner of Good Shepherd! EVERYONE is encouraged to attend.

Pennies For Heaven is the Thrift Shop of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church. Each year, the shop provides income through the sale of donated items. Last year, over $160,000 of shop proceeds helped to sustain mission and ministry in our parish and the greater community. We are incredibly grateful for our volunteers, our donors, and our shoppers!

Summer Community Service Credit

Youth community service opportunities available in Pennies For Heaven. Good Shepherd youth are encouraged to apply. This is a GREAT way to knock out some of the required hours. Contact Beth Long for information.

School Supply Drive

The annual school supply drive for Warfield School is here! Beginning July 9th, bring donations of supplies to the Narthex. We will be accepting donations until July 30th. Lists of recommended supplies will be in the Narthex on July 9th or you can print the list at the link below. Supplies may also be ordered online and shipped diretcly to the school!

Gleaning  

Help out with the harvest! Coordinated by our ministry partners at CROS Ministries, you can signup on their convenient Signup Genius site and pick your date. Gleaning is a great experience for adults and children, too. Do you have teenagers who need community service hours for school? This qualifies! All food harvested is given away at no cost to those who need it most.

Wednesday Holy Eucharist and Healing SUMMER SCHEDULE

Holy Eucharist and Healing will meet ONLY on the last Wednesday of July and August for the summer schedule. July 26, Aug 30.

Good Shepherd Nursery 9:45 AM every Sunday.

Hey, Baby! Join me in the nursery on Sunday! There is a free, professionally-staffed nursery at Good Shepherd. If you're 0-2 yrs old, like me, you're invited for some nursery play while your parents enjoy an hour in church. Every Sunday at 9:45 AM. 

We have a podcast for Sunday homilies.
