Bethel Heights Vineyard Chardonnay
Estate Grown, Eola-Amity Hills,
Willamette Valley, Oregon 2010
While primarily known for their exceptional Pinot Noirs, Bethel Heights Vineyards is also responsible for some of the finest Chardonnays coming out of the Willamette Valley today. Atypical weather conditions early in 2010 were not on the producer's side, but late improvement and meticulous viticulture yielded rewarding wine with moderate alcohol and excellent fruit intensity.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of Gala apple, lemon curd, hints of vanilla, yeast, and flint. On the palate the wine opens with bright preserved lemon flavors, salty mineral notes, and a tightly knit texture framed by bright, mouthwatering acidity.
Price: $25.00

Red Hare Gangway IPA
IPA | 6.20% ABV
$9.00
Straight out of Marietta, we are excited to feature Gangway IPA from Red Hare Brewery this week. The second of their beers to make it into cans, Gangway IPA is refreshingly bitter, with a slightly sweet malt bill. Citrusy hop notes dominate the nose and palate, making this beer an ideal match for hearty winter fare.
Red Hare Brewery is currently the only craft brewery in Georgia canning their beer. They are located on Delk Industrial Boulevard and are open for tours Thursday-Saturday. Support our local brewers.

Leopold Bros Maryland-Style Rye Whiskey
750 mL | 86 Proof
$55.00
Prior to Prohibition, there were two competing styles of rye whiskey in America: Pennsylvania and Maryland. Pennsylvania-style was spicy and dry, while Maryland-style, softer and fruitier. The former was more popular at the time and is also the predominant style available today. This bias inspired Scott and Todd Leopold to try their hand at the lesser known Maryland-style of rye. Loosely following a long-forgotten distiller's recipe, they experimented with many yeasts and malts before settling on the perfect mash bill. The whiskey is aged at 96 proof, low for American whiskey, in order to highlight the delicate floral, fruity notes of the grain.
The first shipment to Georgia contained only thirty bottles, so it will be in and out of the store in a flash. It also makes a really special Valentine's gift for your whiskey-loving sweetheart.
