LMM volunteers Tom Stevens and retired Judge Chris McMonagle were honored last Friday as two of The Center for Community Solutions Most Treasured Volunteers! The Most Treasured Volunteer Award recognizes the invaluable contributions of volunteers in health and social service organizations that serve Greater Cleveland.

LMM is grateful for long-time volunteers like Chris, a leader of weekly discussion groups at the Men's Shelter, and Tom, a dedicated volunteer guardian with LMM's Guardianship Services, for their hard work and for always going above and beyond! Brews for a Cause
On Thursday, November 12, Downtown Cleveland Alliance's City Advocates are putting on 'Brews for a Cause' in partnership with Southern Tier Brewery. Purchase a ticket for the event and receive a Southern Tier variety 4-pack, a $10 Southern Tier gift card, a virtual tour of the brewery and an opportunity to learn about beer from their staff! The event will take place via Zoom from 6pm-7pm. A portion of the proceeds will benefit LMM.

Election Day Updates
Still have your vote-by-mail ballot? We strongly encourage you to drop off your ballot at your county’s Board of Elections by November 3rd at 7:30pm. USPS is experiencing delays, and this is the safest way to make sure your ballot is counted on Election Day. 

Need to vote, but worried about transportation? We are excited to share that, thanks to a grant from The Cleveland Foundation, the Greater Cleveland RTA will be offering free rides to the polls on Election Day. Free rides are also being offered to residents of Cleveland through VoterDriveCLE.com, a local effort to ensure that everyone in the city can vote safely and reliably. 

Already voted, but still want to give back on Election Day? Issue 68 – the Cleveland Metropolitan School District Levy – is looking for poll greeters on Election Day. You can sign up here to be a poll greeter. 
Coffee and Conversation
LMM staff came together on Wednesday morning for our very first Coffee & Conversation! With a lot of our staff members working from home, these monthly meetings allow the LMM team to catch up and have meaningful conversation over a good old cup of joe!
