A Walk in My Shoes Documentary Screening 🎬

Gloria Craig, LMM’s Community Engagement Coordinator, is preparing to release her first documentary, entitled A Walk in My Shoes.

While many believe homelessness is the result of personal choices for individuals who are addicts or who live on the street, this short film opens the door for a boarder conversation. The film compels viewers to consider what it’s like to experience homelessness and what it means to have a “home."

This film shares stories of individuals who have or are experiencing homelessness and gives perspective to the chance realities of what can lead to this incident, and how it is different for everyone.

A Walk In My Shoes production is sponsored by the We Raise Foundation, a funding partner of LMM since the launch of Chopping for Change.

The Men's Shelter at 2100 Lakeside's shuttles provide essential transportation services for individuals experiencing homelessness.

The Metanoia Project has recently been using LMM's shuttle services and had the chance to chat with Thomas Daniels, a shuttle driver with LMM, who reflected on his experiences as a driver as "the opportunity of a lifetime."

We're grateful to individuals like Thomas and partners like the Metanoia Project!
