LMM Staff Guardian Octavia Maynard organized a Christmas donation drive in December for the second year in a row to gather gifts for the wards she serves through LMM's Guardianship Services program!

Octavia gathered gifts through friends and the Elyria Eagles Club to distribute to wards in various nursing home facilities throughout Northeast Ohio. According to Octavia, "The main goal is to make all of my wards feel that they aren't forgotten and to bring them the happiness that comes from receiving their favorite items that they usually wouldn't receive without donations."

LMM's Office of Advocacy work informs systems change by leveraging the expertise of staff and the experiences of program participants to advocate on behalf of those who are hurting to be empowered, valued, and healed.
