LMM Launches Coventry House II

LMM is proud to announce that Coventry House II, an affordable housing opportunity dedicated to individuals leaving the Men's Shelter at 2100 Lakeside Ave., has officially opened!

With the help of multiple partners and funders, LMM is now offering three additional units of safe and reliable housing at affordable rates. As part of this model, tenants complete a free rental application and are granted consideration by way of Fair Chance Housing practices, with no elimination of applicants based on source of income or credit scores.

It's Time to Vote Early!

Early vote for the upcoming August 2, 2022 Primary Election has officially begun. This election was scheduled separately from the May Primary due to issues with the redistricting process, which prevented general assembly elections from being on the ballot.

Summer is Food Truck Season!

LMM Workforce Development staff hosting the Metro45 Food Truck at Tri-C Jazz Fest

Metro45 is a social enterprise of Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry that provides life-changing services to those most in need through feeding people experiencing homeless and offering valuable culinary and workforce training to marginalized individuals. Metro45's food truck is setting up shop at different venues around town throughout July. Want to grab a bite from their delicious menu? Here's where you can find the food truck this month:

Breaking Down Barriers Hiring Event

The Cuyahoga County Office of Reentry is hosting its fourth annual Breaking Down Barriers Hiring Event tomorrow, Friday, July 15th. The recruitment event aims to remove barriers in the hiring process for returning citizens by placing jobseekers directly in front of companies for on-site interviews and by providing resume assistance and other employment resources.

The event will take place The Hough Center (6000 Hough Ave., Cleveland, OH 441103) on Friday, July 15, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and is open to the public. No RSVP is necessary.
