Weekly News from LMM
As we say farewell to 2020 just a few hours from now, we thank you for your support during a difficult year. Your thoughtfulness and generosity, while facing your own adversity, helped many of our participants stay safe and achieve progress in their own lives this year. Please accept our sincere thank you!
President Trump Signs Relief Package
After a lengthy delay, a $2.3 trillion Coronavirus relief and government funding bill was signed into law this week by President Donald Trump.

The COVID relief package will extend unemployment benefits for millions of people. The Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation program would have expired today without the extension. The new stimulus deal allows for an extension of 11 weeks. In addition, most Americans will receive checks for $600.

The package also includes a one month eviction moratorium extension, providing $25 billion in rental assistance for people who lost their income due to the pandemic. Eviction protection is now extended until January 31.

Guardians of the North Pole
The Guardianship offices turned into Santa's workshop the week of Christmas!

Individuals receiving Guardianship Services from LMM were the recipients of much-needed cheer following a year of difficult isolation in nursing homes due to COVID-19.

The kind people at Home Instead Senior Care generously provided the gifts for LMM guardians to send to their wards on Christmas.

What a great way to head into the new year, full of promise and hope.
Help us close out 2020 with a gift to LMM! Every dollar matters. Every gift counts. Thank you!
