From Crisis to Compassion:
Workforce Development's View from the Frontlines
An LMM blog series chronicling the pandemic through the eyes of our own
social service heroes.

Elizabeth Stiles, LMM Adult Educator
LMM's frontline staff are first responders showing heroic efforts to provide basic needs to the most vulnerable in our community during an unprecedented time. The COVID-19 pandemic has turned the world upside down, but our heroes show up each day and make sure people we serve are cared for. We give our clients a voice. We also want you to hear ours.

In our blog series titled A View from the Frontlines, you'll meet our selfless staff who are responding to the worst health crisis of our lifetime, while putting the needs of others above their own. It isn't easy, but it's our new reality. Join us on our journey by seeing the view from LMM's frontlines. #LMMinThisTogether

You Are Not Alone

May is Mental Health Awareness month, a time to raise awareness and break the stigma surrounding mental illness and the one in five Americans who will experience mental illness throughout their lives. Now, more than ever, it is important to realize that while we are currently physically distancing from one another, those living with mental health issues are not alone.

National Correctional Officers & Employees Week

A thank you goes out to all of the correctional officers and employees working in our prisons, especially during these tough times. We're missing our officers from the Northeast Reintegration Center who bring our Chopping for Change students over to LMM every day. Thank you for the work that you do!
