You Won't Want to Miss A Run In Living Color!
Want to try something new and unique? Looking to get active? Want to support an agency that serves people in need? A Run In Living Color is the perfect event for you!

This race is a 5K run and 1 mile walk in which participants will be doused from head to toe in colorful paint powder (Don't worry, the powder comes off of you and your clothes and is completely non-toxic)! Following the race, runners can join LMM for food, music, and a post-run celebration.

Youth Resiliency Services Meeting the Need
Did you know that in the 2020-2021 school year there was an estimated 21,118 youth experiencing homelessness in Ohio alone?

Throughout August, as we near school coming back into session, LMM will be taking a deeper dive into the essential work our Youth Resiliency Services program does to meet the basic needs of youth facing housing instability and adversity.

Give us a follow on social media and keep an eye out for the hashtag #LMMYouth.

Volunteers Beautify Breaking New Ground Houses
Bethesda On The Bay Lutheran Church volunteers, pictured with LMM's Belinda Dawson (pictured sitting front and center in a blue jacket)
Volunteers from Bethesda On The Bay Lutheran Church, including LMM board member, Rev. Angela Freeman-Riley, recently visited the Breaking New Ground houses on Edna Ave. and Bonna Ave. to further prep and beautify the homes for families to move in.

In addition to gardening at the houses, Bethesda volunteers painted part of the interior and exterior of the homes, including sealing and applying a layer of paint to the porch at the Edna house.

Thank you to these amazing volunteers!
Congratulations, Monika and Christina!

LMM is proud to have Christina and Monika on the team and to be expanding this type of opportunity for our Associate's Degree earners who remain incarcerated in order to support continued professional development and earning opportunities between graduation of our program and release.
