Despite the tremendous change our world has undergone in recent weeks, LMM has continued to maintain an unwavering commitment to meeting the needs of our staff, partners and program participants. The work that this agency does is an essential resource to individuals that are underserved in our community and we must continue to provide services to them, despite the many challenges that have been brought along with COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
LMM is following the most up-to-date information on COVID-19 and advancing our safety and business continuity plans in coordination with city and county governmental partners and within the guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), National Institute of Health, and the World Health Organization. We are doing all we can to continue to provide premium services to the most vulnerable in our community, all while keeping our staff as safe, healthy and whole as possible.

Chopping for Change (C4C) is an innovative program that empowers women in the criminal justice system by providing them with significant work experience and training in the culinary field.
Many of our C4C graduates go on to careers in the restaurant industry, and some are temporarily out of work due to the pandemic. Our Workforce Development staff put together care packages for our graduates to let them know that they always have a support system behind them.
Coordinated Intake and Assessment system for persons experiencing homelessness will continue to be utilized, operating now solely by phone at 216-674-6700. Coordinated Intake is available from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. by phone Monday through Friday.
Each day, LMM meets the needs of thousands of people who are experiencing homelessness, vulnerable adults in need of guardianship services, youth who are awaiting placement or aging out of care systems, people struggling with mental health and addiction, and unemployed residents and returning citizens. Our work must continue during the COVID-19 pandemic and financial instability. To learn more about our response to the COVID-19, click here.
If you would like to support our work and our unwavering commitment to meeting the needs of our community's most vulnerable members, please consider making a donation to LMM as we continue to fulfill our mission of providing housing and shelter, health and wellness services, and workforce training for those who are oppressed, hurting and forgotten. Soon we will identify and communicate other ways you can support our work with goods, services and in-kind contributions. In the meantime, thank you for helping us continue to meet the most critical of community needs.
