Scout Sunday
We celebrate the ministry of our own Pack 6 and Troop 6, as well as the work of Scouting organizations around the world. Members of Pack 6 and Troop 6 will be assisting in the service this morning. They are entering into their 91st year as a Troop and Pack 6 is entering into their 71st year of Youth Ministry at PPPC. The newly established Ship 6 and Female Troop 600 are completing their first year here at PPPC.

Confirmation Meeting This Sunday
Confirmation Classes for youth 7th grade and older will begin in February. This year's course of study will consist of 12 class meetings between February and May. Confirmation Sunday is scheduled for May 31, 2020. The full class schedule will be determined when leaders, parents and interested youth get together on February 9 after worship. Our classes are a time to learn different aspects of our Christian faith while giving you a chance to ask questions (no question is off-limits), and have a good time in the process. Join us in the Fellowship Office this Sunday immediately following the service.
IHN Signups
Continuing this Sunday you can sign up for one of the many opportunities to help with IHN. Families will be arriving on February 23 and we need help in all areas. Please see the board in the Narthex to sign up.
Souper Bowl of Caring Update
Thank you to everyone who participated in the Souper Bowl of Caring last Sunday. Your donation will help the approximately 50 families that St. Gregory's Pantry serves each week.

Watch for more information on how you can donate in March and April toward the Easter Distribution that also includes Easter basket donations. (Consider picking up valentine candy clearance items for Easter Basket Donations).

The pantry provides temporary food relief and basic necessities to those in need throughout the year.
February Playlist for Sunday School
This month we want our children to know the great truth that Jesus loves them. When they understand how much Jesus loves them, they can see how important it is to share that love with others and point them to Jesus. We’ll look at key passages in the New Testament where Jesus’ teachings and actions illustrate how we are to love God, our neighbors, and even our enemies.

If you’d rather watch than read further 😉, please click our Preview Video for February!

We’ll concentrate on one “bottom line” idea each week:
  • Love others because Jesus loves you.
  • Love others with your time.
  • Love others because they matter to God.
  • Love God with everything you’ve got.

Our "Life App" this month is, of course, LOVE—Choosing to treat others the way you want to be treated.
If your child hasn't visited us yet at Sunday School, any Sunday is a good time to start! You can download the Sunday School Registration Form Online and bring it to church this Sunday. See you soon!
Book Club Two Weeks Away
The Social Justice Group is reading the book, "White Fragility: Why It’s So Hard For White People To Talk About Racism,” by Robin Diangelo. We will be discussing it on Thursday, February 27th at 7 pm at the home of Lynn O'Hara.

Anyone who finds this topic of interest is welcome to join the discussion. Please speak with Lynn O'Hara if you are planning to attend.
